Xiaomi, as expected, announced the world's first smartphone with 210W fast charging. It is called the Redmi Note 12 Racing.

Here's What We Know

The model received a Full HD+ OLED screen. The panel has a diagonal of 6.67 and supports a frame rate of 120 Hz. The manufacturer also claims Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and brightness up to 900 nits. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, and the display has a hole for a 16 MP front-facing camera.

The hardware platform is built around a 6nm Dimensity 1080 chip with Mali-G68 graphics and Cortex-A78 cores. A 3,000-square-millimeter evaporation chamber is provided to cool the processor. The 210W fast charging capacity allows to fully charge the battery in 9 minutes. Its capacity was 4300 mA*h (two of 2150 mA*h).

Record fast charging is not the only feature of the Redmi Note 12 Racing. The smartphone also boasts a 200 MP main camera (Samsung HPX, 1/1.4") with f/1.65 aperture and optical stabilization.

The novelty runs on the operating system Android 12 with the MIUI 13 shell. The size of the body was 162.9 x 76.03 x 8.98 mm. The smartphone also got an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an auxiliary 2 MP sensor, Mini-Jack, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and stereo speakers.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Unlike the Redmi Note 12 Pro, the Racing version is only available in the 8/256GB version. The price is $360. Most likely this model will not be available on the global market.
