Redmi Note 12 5G debuted outside of China: 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip and 5000 mAh battery for $199

Xiaomi, as promised, held an event in India, where it announced a line of smartphones Redmi Note 12.

Here's What We Know

Redmi Note 12 5G is the base model of the series. The novelty received almost the same specifications as the model for China. The smartphone is equipped with an AMOLED display of 6.67 inches. The screen has a resolution of FHD +, the peak brightness of 1200 nit, tempered glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The novelty runs on the processor Snapdragon 4 Gen1. The amount of RAM is 4-6 GB, and built-in - 128 GB. If desired, the drive can be expanded with a microSD card. The smartphone also gets a 5000 mAh battery, 33W charging, a 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP triple main camera (the model for China has a dual camera), a 13 MP front camera (the model for China has 8 MP), a side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C port. The smartphone comes with Android 12 operating system and MIUI 13 shell.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi Note 12 5G will start selling in India on January 11. The smartphone will cost from $199. In Europe, the novelty will be presented a little later.
