Xiaomi will be bringing some of the Redmi Note 12 family of smartphones, which debuted in China last year, to the world in the coming weeks. The Trend versions with a fluorescent cover and Racing with 210W charging will remain in China, but there will be a Redmi Note 12 with 4G support.
Here's What We Know
A well-known insider @ _snoopytech_ has published the specifications of all the smartphones that will be available in the global market. We won't dwell on the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, as all the parameters are the same as the Chinese ones. But let's talk about Redmi Note 12 4G in more detail.
The smartphone will offer buyers a 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP triple main camera and a 13 MP front-facing selfie module. The AMOLED screen will have a 6.67" diagonal and a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The insider's poster does not provide any information about the chip. It only indicates that the Redmi Note 12 4G will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon series processor made using 6nm technology. But it is already known that it will be a Snapdragon 680. The battery capacity will be 5,000mAh and the charging power will be 33W.
The 4G version of the Redmi Note 12 will get NFC, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 5 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The body will have IP53 splash protection, like other 12th generation smartphones. Joyfully, the model will go on sale with MIUI 14.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Redmi Note 12 4G will hit the market in a 4/128GB modification and three colours: Oryx Gray, Mint Green, Ice Blue. The smartphone will cost €279.
