Redmi Note 12 5G powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 debuted in Europe, increasing in price by 100%

Together with the Redmi Note 12 4G, the 5G version debuted in Europe. Compared to the Chinese version, the price has doubled.

Here's What We Know

The European Redmi Note 12 5G is almost the same as the Chinese version. The novelty is equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip, 6.67" 120Hz AMOLED display, 5000mAh battery with 33W charging, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Mini-Jack. The main camera resolution is 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, while the front camera is 13 MP.

The first difference is the lack of advanced memory modifications. The European version gets 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB variants are missing. Right out of the box, the smartphone runs MIUI 14, but is powered by Android 13 operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi Note 12 5G is available in Europe in three colours: Onyx Gray, Forest Green and Ice Blue.

The price is €300. For comparison, in China, the 4/128GB modification costs €150.
