Xiaomi sold 75,000 Redmi Pad tablets in one day and generated revenue of $11.25-14.25 million

On October 5, sales of the Redmi Pad tablet began in India. Almost four weeks later it appeared in China and immediately became very popular.

The tablet went on sale in the Celestial market on October 31 along with the Redmi Note 12 smartphones. During the day the company sold 350,000 phones, but the Redmi Pad went for a more modest circulation.

According to Xiaomi during the day users bought 75,000 tablets. The cost of one is $150 or $190, depending on the modification. This means that Xiaomi's revenue was between $11.25 and $14.25 million.

The tablet is equipped with a Helio G99 chip, an 8,000mAh battery, stereo speakers, a 10.61" IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate and two 8MP cameras. Redmi Pad is already on sale in Europe at a price of €300.
