Lockheed Martin received $176.2 million to produce 61 LRASM anti-ship missiles for the US Air Force
The US Air Force has ordered more than 60 LRASM (Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles). This was announced on the official website of the Pentagon.

The US Department of Defence has allocated $176.2m to the US company. The agreement is a modification of contract FA8682-23-C-B001. It activates an option for an additional batch of 61 LRASM anti-ship missiles.
Work will be performed at Lockheed Martin facilities in Alabama and Florida. The contract is expected to be completed by 18 July 2027.
LRASM is a new US air-launched anti-ship missile. Production began in 2017. It is carried by F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter jets and B-1B Lancer bombers. The US also intends to integrate LRAMS on fifth-generation F-35A Lightning II fighters and P-8 Poseidon patrol aircraft.
