Samsung started updating the 2019 Galaxy A01 budget phone, but only to Android 12

Yes, the entry-level smartphone, released in late 2019, gets an update a year later than most other Samsung smartphones. But nonetheless - the phones have started getting Android 12 with the brand's One UI Core 4.1 shell and a security patch from September 2022.
Users in Uzbekistan were the first to receive the firmware A015FXXU5CVK5. In other countries the update is expected to roll out in the next few weeks.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A01 in late 2019 with One UI Core 2.0 powered by Android 10. In April 2021, the device received One UI Core 3.0 based on Android 11.
