Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: 6.6" LCD screen, 5000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 695 chip and 50 MP camera
Samsung announced a new A-series smartphone.
What we know
The novelty is called Galaxy A23 5G. The gadget has a 6.6-inch display with LCD-matrix, FHD + resolution and refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen is covered with tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. At the top of the panel there is placed a drop-shaped cutout with an 8 MP front camera. The main one, in turn, got four sensors with a main sensor for 50 MP. It supports optical image stabilization OIS. It is complemented by a 5 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2, 2 MP macro and depth sensor with the same resolution.
The Galaxy A23 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The charging power on the official website is not specified, but presumably we are talking about 25 watts. For the performance of new items a fresh octa-core processor Snapdragon 695 is responsible. The chip works in tandem with 4/6/8 GB RAM and storage for 64 or 128 GB. If desired, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1 TB. Out of the box, the smartphone has the Android 12 operating system and the OneUI 4.1 filmware. The novelty is due to update to Android 13.
Price and when to expect
Samsung has not yet disclosed the price and launch date of the Galaxy A23 5G. We only know that the smartphone will appear in Europe and India.
