Android 13 for Samsung Galaxy A42: what's new and when to expect the firmware

Following the Galaxy M22, Samsung has released an Android 13 update for the Galaxy A42.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed by our colleagues at SamMobile. The firmware came out with build number A426NKSU2DVK2 and the November Google security patch, which closes many vulnerabilities in the system. In addition to this software added a new proprietary shell One UI 5.0 with lots of changes. For example, the developers have updated the interface of the smartphone, added new features, and worked on the security and privacy of the device.

When We Can Expect It

The update has only been released so far for Galaxy A42 users in South Korea. In other countries, the OTA will appear a little later.
