Samsung Galaxy A55 gets its first firmware update with a new security patch

The new Samsung Galaxy A55 is getting its first software update. The smartphone was announced this month already with the new One UI 6.1 firmware and had a February security patch. But now it has received a fresh, March security update.

Here's What We Know

The update is rolling out only in India for now and contains firmware version A556EXXXS1AXC1. It weighs just under 210MB and judging by the size of the firmware, the update only consists of a newer security patch dated March 2024.

The list of changes mentions "New and/or improved features" and "Further performance improvements", but this is what Samsung's overall changelog looks like.
