Samsung releases new software version for Galaxy A71 5G: what's new and when to expect OTAs

Samsung, following the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73, has started updating another A-series smartphone.

We're talking about the Galaxy A71 5G. According to our colleagues from SamMobile, the firmware has been released with build number A716BXXU8FWE1 and owners have already started receiving it in Asia. A bit later the system will be available in other regions. You can check whether the OTA is available in the smartphone settings.

As for the list of changes, the Galaxy A71 5G has received a fresh Google security patch. It fixes more than 60 vulnerabilities. The developers have also fixed bugs in the software, improved the battery life and performance of the gadget.
