When Samsung released the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it had a few camera issues. These were fixed with the first software update. In April, another update came out improving the camera. However, not all the camera flaws have been fixed yet. Reportedly, they will be fixed with the upcoming software update.

Here's What We Know

According to reliable whistleblower @UniverseIce, Samsung is planning to release another update to fix the remaining camera issues. It will include improved telephoto lens quality, white balance accuracy, and a reduction in the abnormal red colour appearing in some images.

Samsung has not given a specific release schedule for the upcoming update, but we can expect it to arrive in May or June 2024. With the previous update, Samsung fixed white balance and exposure issues. The Galaxy S24 Ultra had a tendency to overexpose images, so bright areas and light sources looked overexposed. Samsung has also improved low-light image quality and colour accuracy in the Expert RAW app. Text clarity in enlarged images was also improved in the April 2024 update.
