Samsung Galaxy Tab A9: 8.7″ display, MediaTek Helio G99 chip and 5100 mAh battery for $156

Samsung has announced a new budget line of tablets. The base model of the series was the Galaxy Tab A9.

Here's What We Know

Galaxy Tab A9 received an 8.7-inch display with WQXGA resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate and LCD-matrix. The novelty runs a MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. If desired, the inbuilt memory can be expanded with a microSD card.

The novelty also features Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, USB Type-C and a dual-SIM (nano + eSIM) slot. The tablet supports 4G and comes with dual AKG speakers, a 2 MP front camera and an 8 MP main camera. The device is powered by a 5100 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab A9 is charged using a 15W power supply. Out of the box, the tablet runs Android 13 operating system with OneUI 5.1.1 shell.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is already on sale, but only in India for now.
