After the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones, Samsung has updated its line of tablets. The main novelty is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Specifications
The tablet received a large Super AMOLED display in WQXGA + format with a density of 240 ppi and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen diagonal is 14.6”. A fingerprint scanner is installed under it, and a small “bangs” is provided for the two front cameras.
The electronic brain of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen1. The mobile chip is supplemented with 8-16 GB of RAM, the storage capacity is 128-512 GB, and the battery capacity is 11,200 mAh. The tablet supports fast charging up to 45W, but the charger will have to be purchased separately.
The main camera and ultra-wide-angle modules are installed at 13 MP and 6 MP, respectively. The front camera has the same optics, but the resolution of each module is 12 MP.
The novelty weighs 726-728 g and has dimensions of 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5 mm. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra supports the S Pen stylus (in the box), has NFC, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2. The unit has four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Prices
The tablet runs on the Android 12 operating system and is only available in a graphite body color. The company has prepared a number of covers for it, but you need to buy them separately, like the charger. In the US, the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra starts at $1,100.
