Samsung Galaxy Tab S8: 11-inch tablet with top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor for $700
At today's major presentation, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S8 family of tablets. The most compact and affordable model among the new products was the base version of the Galaxy Tab S8.
What they offer
Although it is the most simple model in the line, it inherits many of the features of its older brothers: S Pen support, thin and durable reinforced aluminum body, four-channel speakers with Dolby Atmos, three noise-cancelling microphones, standard WiFi 6th generations and the ability to install a memory card up to 1 GB.
The tablet is equipped with 11 inch display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and an image refresh rate increased to 120 Hz. Accordingly, its dimensions are quite compact - 165.3 × 253.8 × 6.3 mm. The gadget weighs a little more than 500g. Out of the box, it will receive the Android 12 operating system.
The novelty is based on the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which works in conjunction with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. There are also two storage sizes to choose from - 128 and 256 GB. 8000 mAh battery has support for fast 45 watt charging. By the way, the same charging is provided for the other two representatives of the line. Security is provided by a fingerprint scanner in the side button.
For photos, videos, chats, and conferences, the Galaxy Tab S8 offers 12 megapixel front and dual main camera with sensors with a resolution of 13 and 6 MP. Unlike the model Ultra, there are no cutouts for the front camera - it is located in the upper frame.
Price
Pre-orders start from today. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 costs $700 and is available in three colors: graphite, silver and rose gold.
