Samsung Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 2 have received Google's August security update

Samsung continues to support the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 2 foldable smartphones by releasing a new software version for them.

Here's What We Know

The system has been released with build numbers F900FXXS7HWG1, F907BXXS7HWG1 and F916BXXS4JWH3 (depending on version and region). The firmware has already started rolling out in waves in Brazil, France, Argentina, Portugal and Uruguay. The OTA will also be released in other countries soon.

With the system update, the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 2 received the current Google security patch, which closes more than 70 vulnerabilities. The developers have also fixed bugs in the system and worked on optimising the user interface.
