Here's What We Know
The team included 16 specialists. The commission was headed by astrophysicist David Spergel. The team will look into unidentified flying object incidents that [the incidents] have not been classified. The first phase will last for nine months, meaning the results will be published in mid-2023.
The purpose of the commission is to study incidents that cannot be linked to natural phenomena and drones. By the way, instead of UFOs is now used a broader term - Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).
