Robot dog Spot walks the streets of Kyiv
Boston Dynamics' Spot, a robotic dog, walked the streets of Kyiv and demonstrated its capabilities to the capital's residents. Of course, footage of the robot quickly appeared on social media.
Here's What We Know
At least two videos of the Boston Dynamics robot were posted on social networks. Spot was spotted near the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute complex on Industrial Avenue, and also showed that it can cross the road at a pedestrian crossing by the rules.
Boston Dynamics unveiled Spot in mid-2020. The company said the cost of the robotic dog was $74,500 and refused to sell it to the military. Since then, Spot has demonstrated its skills on several occasions.
In particular, at the end of last year, three robots were able to barely decorate a Christmas tree. A few days ago, five Spot dogs took part in the Coperni fashion show in Paris, where they successfully interacted with the models on the catwalk.
