SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket puts 40 OneWeb satellites into orbit

SpaceX has announced the successful launch of the OneWeb satellites. A Falcon 9 launch vehicle was used for the launch.

UK-based OneWeb was able to successfully deploy 40 more satellites to provide broadband. The Falcon 9 rocket launched at 9:13 p.m. (EET) on March 9. This was the 13th successful launch for her.

Falcon 9 first stage returned to Earth nearly 8 minutes after liftoff and landed at Cape Canaveral. The upper stage continued its flight. Deployment of the OneWeb satellites began 59 minutes after rocket launch and lasted less than two hours.

OneWeb previously used Russian rockets to launch satellites into orbit. After the sanctions, the British company began using the services of SpaceX and NSIL.
