We wrote today that Axiom Space has unveiled a prototype spacesuit for the Artemis III lunar mission, which will see astronauts land on the moon for the first time since 1972. It is also known that the space suits themselves will not return to Earth. Another Axiom-related news is that the US company will be poisoning the third group of tourists to the International Space Station (ISS).

Here's What We Know

Axiom Space has signed a contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for a third mission to the ISS for tourists. They are expected to be able to travel to the station in late 2023, but the exact date has not yet been made public. However, it is known that the cruise will not take place before November.

The Ax-3 commercial mission will send four people to the ISS. They will spend two weeks on the station, during which they will be able to interact with the ISS crew and take part in experiments.

Axiom Space has yet to select four crew members for the third mission, along with two participants who will remain in reserve. It is also worth recalling that the Ax-2 mission will take place before the end of spring. Axiom first sent tourists to the ISS in 2022. Then they paid $55 million for the "ticket".
