Sharp Aquos Wish is a compact, indestructible smartphone made from recycled plastic

The Japanese company Sharp has expanded the range of protected smartphones with the budget Aquos Wish model, which is distinguished by its compact dimensions.

What we know

The novelty is enclosed in a housing with protection according to IP67, MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-810H standards. The smartphone is not afraid of water, dust, drops and extreme temperatures. At the front is a 5.7 ”HD + IPS display. The Sharp Aquos Wish case is 35% recycled plastic.

Despite the rather wide bezel at the top of the front side, the developers have placed the 8MP selfie camera in the waterdrop notch. The main camera is represented by a single module that has a 13-megapixel resolution.

Sharp Aquos Wish is powered by Snapdragon 480 chipset with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM. UFS 2.2 storage capacity is 64 GB. The battery with a capacity of 3730 mAh with support for fast charging USB PD 3.0 is responsible for the autonomy of the novelty. Also of note is the fingerprint scanner, USB-C, Mini-Jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 5.

When to expect

Sharp Aquos Wish price has not yet been specified. The start of sales is scheduled for 2022. The novelty will appear on the market in golden black and olive colors with pre-installed Android 11 OS.
