Sony introduced the WF-1000XM5 a month ago. The headphones feature 8.4mm Dynamic Driver X drivers, IPX4 water protection and active noise cancelling audio. The novelty is powered by a proprietary chip. Also six microphones are installed in the model.

The gadget supports LDAC, SB3, AAC and LC3 codecs and DSEE Extreme technology, which provides real-time quality enhancement of compressed music audio files. As for the autonomy, it will last up to 24 hours (with a case).
