Sony Xperia 10 V - Snapdragon 695, 48MP camera, stereo speakers and IP68 protection for €449
Sony has paired its next-generation flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 V, with a cheaper model. The second new product is called the Sony Xperia 10 V.
Here's What We Know
There are quite a few complaints about the smartphone. For example, its display doesn't support a higher refresh rate - only 60Hz. The screen itself is based on a Full HD+ OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 21 to 9 and a diagonal of 6.1".
The Sony Xperia 10 V has an IP65/IP68 water and dust protection enclosure. The front features Gorilla Glass Victus glass. The body, on the other hand, is made of plastic, which is also hard to call an advantage of the novelty.
The silicon brain of the Sony Xperia 10 V is the Snapdragon 695 mobile chip. The processor is made by 6 nm technology, supports 5G, has Adreno 619 graphics and frequencies up to 2.2 GHz. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
The smartphone gets a 48 MP (1/2", f/1.8) + 8 MP (1/4.4", f/2.2) + 8 MP (1/4", f/2.2) main camera. It has optical stabilisation and 2x zoom without loss of quality. The camera resolution for selfies is 8 MP (f/2).
The Sony Xperia 10 V has a 5000mAh battery and supports 21W fast charging. The smartphone also has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, Mini-Jack, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Sony Xperia 10 V is priced at €449. The smartphone will go on sale in blue, white, black and green body colours in the middle of next month.
