Crew-8 astronauts go into quarantine before launching the space station

Crew-8 astronauts are preparing for their mission to the International Space Station. The team and astronauts will spend two weeks in isolation before launching at Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The quarantine is necessary to ensure the health of the crew and prevent any infections on the space station. During this period, the astronauts are allowed to see a limited number of family members and other team members who have been cleared. However, they will conduct most of their training remotely.

The launch is scheduled for 1 March using the SpaceX Dragon Endeavour, which was previously used in the Crew-2 and Crew-6 missions, as well as in the first Dragon test flight with the Demo-2 crew.
