Space startup Orbit Fab is revolutionising the satellite industry with its new initiative - satellite refuelling stations. The company has offered RAFTI, a refuelling port available for $30,000 per unit.

Here's What We Know

This new initiative from Orbit Fab aims to make satellites more efficient and cost-effective. It will allow satellites to replenish their fuel reserves on orbit. Thanks to RAFTI, the vehicles can maintain their performance and service life without having to return to Earth for refuelling.

Daniel Faber, founder and CEO of Orbit Fab, reveals that this offer has been made possible through years of development and collaboration with customers and partners from around the world. The company's decision was a response to a real need in the space industry, especially given the growing interest in long-term satellite missions.

In addition, Orbit Fab already has plans to upgrade RAFTI and develop options to support high-pressure propellants. The company is also considering redesigning the grapple body for larger spacecraft to meet future market needs.

Orbit Fab looks forward to the successful implementation of the innovations.
