SpaceX launched Starship into space on 20 April, but it exploded at an altitude of less than 40km. A re-launch will take place relatively soon.

Here's What We Know

Starship, carrying a Super Heavy rocket, launched from the Starbase pad in Boca Chica, Texas. One user on Twitter wrote that the repair work could last for six months.

American billionaire Elon Musk commented on the publication. The SpaceX CEO said the company plans to prepare for a Starship re-launch in a month or two.

SpaceX issued a comment after the launch, which was followed by an explosion. The test yielded a lot of new information about the spacecraft, rocket and ground systems. This data will improve future missions.

Residents of the town of Port Isabel, which is near Starbase, were not happy with the failed launch. A large cloud of dust formed after the launch and covered the town.
