The new Apple Watch could be the first smartwatch to actively track your sweat, thanks to a technology patented by the company.
According to documents filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office, Apple is looking to integrate electrodes into the device to measure the level of sweat users produce.
This new sweat upgrade, which is still awaiting patent approval, will not only track your fluid rate but also provide recommendations on the optimal hydration level for each user. The gadget will send recommendations for drinking water.
While sweat tracking technology is not new, integrating it directly into smartwatches is a groundbreaking step that will simplify the health monitoring process for users.
