Spotify raises Premium subscription price in 53 countries around the world

Spotify has announced new prices for Premium subscriptions in many countries around the world.

So, the price increase will affect users in Andorra, Albania, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, UK, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Croatia, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino, Thailand, Turkey, USA and Kosovo.

For example, Spotify Premium Single is now $10.99 in the US, €10.99 in France and £10.99 in the UK. The cost of Premium Student has increased to €5.99/€5.99 and will remain the same at £5.99 in the UK. The Premium Duo plan costs $14.99/€14.99/£14.99. As for the Premium Family subscription, it now costs $16.99/€17.99/£17.99 respectively.

The new prices are already in effect for new Spotify subscribers. As for existing users, the prices will increase for them from next month.
