A video of a German Gepard anti-aircraft tank in the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has appeared on the Internet.

The video was published by the Air Command "South". The video shows how the AFU with the help of Gepard destroy two Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136/131. The combat work was filmed at night on 7 September in the Odessa region.

Gepard is a German-made anti-aircraft system that is used to destroy enemy air and ground targets. It is equipped with two rifled automatic guns of 35 mm calibre, MG-3 machine gun of 7.62 mm calibre and RPK-2 radar station. The Gepard can engage air targets at a range of up to 4 kilometres and at an altitude of up to 3 kilometres that are flying at a speed of no more than 400 m/s (1,440 km/h). The anti-aircraft gun is also capable of destroying ground and surface targets at a range of up to 4.5 kilometres.
