Russian modernised T-90 "Breakthrough" tank costing up to $4.5m destroyed on its own mines along with the new BMP-3M tank

The Russians have lost another modernised T-90M "Breakthrough" tank in the war against Ukraine. Moreover, it exploded on its own mines.

Photos of the destroyed tank worth up to $4.5 million were published by the group "Sharp Trump". The T-90M "Breakthrough" was blown up by several Russian mines, but the BMP-3M infantry fighting vehicle was hit by only one mine and was left without a track. The defence forces managed to finish it off. They promise to publish a video soon.

According to Oryx analysts, the Russian army has lost at least 40 T-90M tanks since February 2022, three of which were captured by the Ukrainian Defence Forces. In addition, the Ukrainian military has destroyed more than 160 BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and captured more than 60 units.
