Russian propagandists tried to pass off the destruction of their T-90M Breakthrough tank in Ukraine as the defeat of a Merkava IV in Israel
This has never happened before, and here it is again. Russian propagandists have begun to actively disseminate a video of the destruction of an allegedly Israeli Merkava IV tank. But there is a nuance.
Here's What We Know
We recently published a video clip that shows the destruction of the Russian modernised T-90M "Breakthrough" tank in Ukraine. The Russians tried to pass this material off as footage of the destruction of the Merkava IV in Israel.
It is worth noting that Hamas terrorists still managed to destroy at least two Israeli tanks. The day before we wrote about the destruction of Merkava IV with the help of a drone that dropped a grenade. There is also footage of the use of a grenade launcher.
Meanwhile, the US sent to Israel a strike group led by the world's largest aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. Along with it, destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney, USS Roosevelt and missile cruiser USS Normandy are moving to the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.
Also joining the USS Gerald R. Ford strike group are several squadrons of aircraft. These include fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters, older F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft.
