The AFU has received in service M1150 demining assault vehicles based on M1 Abrams tanks, the U.S. has not reported their deliveries

American M1150 demining assault vehicles have appeared in service with the Ukrainian army.

Here's What We Know

Photos with M1150 published on the website of the President of Ukraine. It is not known how many such machines are in service with the AFU. By the way, the US has not officially announced the transfer of M1150 to Ukraine.

Flashback

M1150 is an American assault vehicle for mine and explosive ordnance disposal. It is based on the chassis of the M1 Abrams tank. The vehicle is equipped with a mine plough, demining line charge, 1500 hp engine and Browning M2 machine gun. The U.S. Army received the first M1150s in service in 2009. Since then, about 239 units have been produced.
