Here's What We Know

This is reported by journalist Björn Müller, who refers to a representative of KNDS (KMW+Nexter Defence Systems). What this is related to is not specified at this time. Meanwhile, the production line for the RCH 155 howitzers is still under construction.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been using German Panzerhaubitze 2000 since the middle of last year. Germany handed over 14 self-propelled artillery units, instead of which it will purchase 28 units. Earlier this year, German authorities approved the purchase of a dozen howitzers for €190.7m ($207m).

As for the construction of 100 Panzerhaubitze 2000 units for Ukraine, the sale was approved by the federal government at the end of July 2022. The amount of the agreement was €1.7bn ($1.85bn).
