Instagram is working on creating tags for posts 'generated by artificial intelligence'

Meta is working on several new generative artificial intelligence features for Instagram, including tags that mark AI images as "generated by Meta AI"

The feature was first discovered by reverse-engineer Alessandro Paluzzi. He published a screenshot showing a message warning that the content was created using generative AI tools.

"The creator or Meta said that this content was created or edited with AI"," the post explained.

Paluzzi revealed other generative AI features for Instagram. These include "message summaries" to summarise long DM conversations and new artistic tools for editing Stories.
