Enthusiast has developed a talking T-800 terminator head with object recognition support
Engineer Michael Darby has created a T-800 terminator head that can talk and recognize objects.
What we know
A Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer with 8 GB of RAM and an Adafruit Braincraft HAT machine learning module were used for the project. The engineer also added LEDs, a camera module, and other additional components. The terminator skull was purchased from an online store.
The device is equipped with a microphone. The engineer states that the T-800 understands replicas, can speak itself and is able to recognize objects. An artificial intelligence system is responsible for speech processing.
So far, the project is at an early stage, but the enthusiast plans to improve it constantly. Michael Darby has published on GitHub all the source data needed to build the T-800, including the Raspberry Pi 4 computer software.
