The architecture in Assassin's Creed Shadows looks authentic, but will it hurt the game? New video showed the beauty of Kyoto

Japanese portal Impress Watch has published a short video that shows off the beauty of Kyoto in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

Here's What We Know

The authors showed how the protagonist Naoe climbs to the vantage point and before her stretches an authentic and picturesque city of feudal Japan.

Gamers are actively discussing this video in social networks and forums, noting that the game looks great, but express valid concerns: unlike, for example, Paris, London or Venice, which were presented in past parts of Assassin's Creed, Shadows is dominated by one-storey buildings, because of which the improved parkour system may seem pointless and not as much in demand as it was before.

From the point of view of history, such architecture is characteristic of 16th century Japan, but it may harm the gameplay. Whether that's the case or not, we'll find out on 20 March. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
