Musk promises to release his smartphone if Apple and Google remove Twitter from the App Store and Google Play

It turns out that the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, is already thinking about releasing his alternative smartphone.

It will happen if Apple and Google remove the Twitter app from their App Store and Google Play stores.

Liz Wheeler, author and podcast host, addressed Musk with a question (or rather, a statement):

"If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, Elon Musk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?"

Musk responded to her post and replied in the affirmative:

"I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone".
