Twitter forcibly shows Elon Musk's posts even to those who are not subscribed
If you're watching Twitter's "For You" category, the social network has an unpleasant (or pleasant) surprise in store for you.
Here's What We Know
The feed is overflowing with Elon Musk's posts, even if you're not subscribed to the new Twitter owner. And users see not only the American billionaire's tweets. The feed also displays his responses to other publications.
Elon Musk himself is aware of the problem and promises to fix it. What's interesting is that Twitter started forcibly displaying his CEO's posts after he complained about the drop in reach. Incidentally, one of the engineers lost his job because of it.
Musk's popularity on Twitter has been declining since April last year. The social network's engineers believe that algorithms have nothing to do with it. The billionaire himself announced "some changes" at the weekend and complained that 95% of his posts fail to reach his target audience.
