Twitter recently began removing "blue ticks" from accounts that had not previously paid for a free subscription. However, Elon Musk has left some famous users to tick for free. An American writer Stephen King is among them. But as it turns out, he has other priorities.

Details

Stephen King had previously opposed the introduction of the paid subscription and publicly stated that he refused to pay Twitter. Now he has reacted to Musk saying that he has personally paid for King's subscription and suggested that he donates the money to Serhiy Prytula's fund to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Of course Serhiy Prytula, charity founder, supported the initiative and wrote on Facebook: "That moment when Stephen King in his Twitter account just recommended our foundation to Elon Musk. I was I was shocked for a moment."

Amended. Elon Musk responded to King's suggestion: "I donated $100 million to Ukraine, and how much have you donated? We turned down the DoD money btw" He also quoted an October tweet of gratitude from Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
