Ukrainian Drone Army sends first DJI Mavic and DJI Phantom drones to the front
The project of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the platform UNITED24 "Drone Army" has successfully transferred the first drones to the front.
What we know
The Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said about this in his personal Telegram-channel. What models of drones were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not specified. As well as their number. However, in the photo published by the minister, we see two quadcopters DJI series Phantom and three models of the line Mavic. Another quadcopter may be in the box on the right.
Recall that the Department of Digital Transformation did not buy these drones. They were sent by people who cared. But the Ministry intends to order 200 reconnaissance level drones. More than 1 million hryvnias were collected in a day after the start of the "Army of Drones" project. Anyone interested can send a donation here.
