Actor Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the legendary "Star Wars," is the new ambassador for the United24 fundraising platform.

Details

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke to the actor via video link and thanked him for supporting the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom. According to the head of state, Hamill will be the first ambassador of the platform, which will help raise funds for the "Army of Drones". It's a project that gives the military on the front lines powerful drones.

"I know for a fact that Ukrainians need drones to protect their land, their freedom and the values of the entire democratic world. This is the best time for everyone to unite and help Ukraine stand up in this war with the evil empire," Mark Hamill stressed.

By the way, earlier ambassadors of the platform United24 were the musicians of the famous band Imagine Dragons.
