China tested the world's first four-engine cargo drone TB0D Scorpion D with a payload of 1.5 tons, which will be modified into a bomber
TB0D Scorpion D, China's newest cargo drone, made its maiden flight. It happened a few days ago. The tests took place at a test site in southwestern Sichuan province.

The developer of the drone is the Chinese company Sichuan Tengden Sci-Tech Innovation. The test flight lasted 18 minutes. Tests of the drone took place on October 25, and the full presentation will take place during the China International Airshow. The event will be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province from November 8 to 13.
Chinese official media reports that the TB0D Scorpion D is the first cargo drone with four engines. It has 20 meter wingspan and a height of 3.1 meters and a fuselage length of 10.5 meters.

The TB0D Scorpion D is capable of carrying a payload of up to 1,500kg. The maximum takeoff weight of the drone is 4,350 kg. The unmanned aerial vehicle has a cargo compartment of almost 945 square centimeters and a volume of 5 cubic meters.
Right now TB0D Scorpion D is positioned as a civilian drone for cargo transportation. In the future it will be converted into a military bomber.
