China introduced its own counterpart Switchblade - drone-kamikaze Dragon 60B has got GPS, cameras and can fly for 2 hours at an altitude of 1 km
The Dragon 60B hovering ammunition is another new development at China's Zhuhai Airshow dedicated to unmanned aerial vehicles.
Here's What We Know
In terms of design, the new drone resembles the Switchblade borne ammunition made by American company AeroVironment. But the Dragon 60B can also be used as a reconnaissance-level UAV. For this purpose, it received a camera system and the ability to fly for two hours.
The Dragon 60B is equipped with two pairs of wings, just like the Switchblade, but one of them is not mounted on the front, but closer to the central part of the aircraft. It is also equipped with a twin-bladed propeller and electric motor.
The Chinese novelty has a GPS and inertial guidance system. There is an electro-optical system in the nose, which allows the drone to conduct reconnaissance and surveillance at any time of day. Flight altitude of the Dragon 60B ranges from 10 meters to 1 km.
