The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using drones made by Ukrspecsystems. The Ukrainian manufacturer has recently fully presented and disclosed the technical characteristics of a new drone. It is called MINI SHARK.

Here's What We Know

MINI SHARK is another reconnaissance-class drone. The drone is 125cm long and has a wingspan of 260cm. It has a maximum take-off weight of 5kg. When fully loaded, it can fly for 2 hours thanks to its 21,000 mA*h battery.

The drone is capable of reconnaissance, surveillance and artillery fire correction from a height of up to 1 kilometre. At the same time, if necessary, the operator can raise the MINI SHARK to an altitude of 3 kilometres. The operating temperature range is from -15 to +45 degrees Celsius.

The maximum speed of the Ukrainian drone is 120 km/h, and the cruising speed is 55 km/h. After gaining altitude for stable flight, the speed of the drone should not fall below the mark of 42 km/h.

The MINI SHARK camera is stabilised and has a 10x zoom. It can shoot video in Full HD format (1080 x 1920 pixels). The video stream transmission range is up to 35 kilometres.

The unmanned aerial system includes two MINI SHARK drones, two cameras, spare components and a control station. The latter consists of a laptop and an antenna. The drone uses GPS and can return to the operator in case of a communication breakdown.
