French company Delair Drones has handed over 150 drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine - deliveries financed by the French government
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already received 150 unmanned aerial vehicles from the French company Delair Drones. This was announced by French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu.
Here's What We Know
We are not talking about a one-time delivery, but about the total number of drones that were transferred to Ukraine. The UAV models are not specified, but Delair Drones has only three drones in its range. The deliveries were funded by the French government.
The first UAV is the Delair UX11 (pictured above). It can fly for 59 minutes and weighs only 1.4kg. It has a range of 53 kilometres. An extra battery extends flight time to 80 minutes and range to 70km.
The second UAV is the Delair DT26 (pictured above). This drone is available in four variants: LiDAR, Surveillance, Tactical and Open Payload. The specifications vary depending on the model. It has a maximum flight time of 170 minutes, a take-off weight of 18kg and a range of 50km.
The third UAV is the Delair DR46. It is available in fixed wing and vertical takeoff/landing configurations. The first version can fly up to 7.5 hours and carry up to 5kg of payload. The VTOL variant has a flight time of almost 4 hours.
