Air defence forces were reportedly able to intercept the drone in the early hours of the morning, but it crashed on the plant's grounds. The UAV crashed on the territory, which is leased to the Spetspeftprodukt company. The explosion damaged a tanker and the windows of a building on the plant's property.
The enterprise is called "Redkinsky Experimental Plant." Its official website states that it produces "unique products" that are used in the space and aviation industries.
