After another Russian Federation attack on the Odessa region, another drone fell in Romania. However, this time its wreckage was found not near the Ukrainian border, but at a distance of about 14 kilometres from it.
The drone crashed near the villages of Nuferu and Victoria. An IAR 330 Puma helicopter of the Romanian Air Force with a team went to the crash site to investigate and collect samples for examination. The UAV fragments were scattered over dozens of metres.
Last week, the wreckage of the drone was discovered on the banks of the Danube River. Romania's defence ministry said the US will send F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets to the country in response to the drone downing.
