Germany returns two rented Heron TP drones to Israel amid Hamas terrorist attack
Germany has decided to support Israel with two drones. This was announced by Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.

The German Ministry of Defence has leased five Heron TP drones. Two drones, developed by Israel Aerospace Industries, remained in Israel, where German pilots were trained.
Due to an attack by Hamas terrorists, the Israeli authorities submitted a request to use the drones. It was approved by the German Ministry of Defence. The 16 German servicemen who were in training will return home.
The Heron TP is an export version of the drone known as the Eitan. The drone has a maximum take-off weight of 5,400kg, a speed of up to 407km/h and a range of 7,400km. The UAV is capable of climbing to an altitude of 14 kilometres and staying in the air for more than 30 hours.
