Turkey's Bayraktar TB3 drone has made its maiden flight

Baykar Makina continues to test the new Bayraktar TB3 drone.

This time, the manufacturer published a video of the first flight of the UAV on social media. The drone flew into the air for a few seconds and then landed on the runway without problems.

Bayraktar TB3 differs from Bayraktar TB2 by its larger dimensions, slightly modified appearance, and folding wings. Thanks to them, the drone can be based on ships. For example, on the flagship aircraft carrier of the Turkish Navy TCG Anadolu. The drone is powered by a new turbo-diesel aircraft engine. Bayraktar TB3 has a maximum takeoff weight of 1450kg with a payload of 280kg. Preliminarily, the drone will be able to stay in the air for up to 50 hours.
