Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 50 MP camera and a Samsung LTPO AMOLED E6 screen for $630 - Meizu 19 Pro specifications and price became known

The Chinese company Meizu is preparing for the release of the flagship smartphone of the next generation. We are talking about the model Meizu 19 Pro.

Here's What We Know

The upcoming novelty is codenamed Phoenix Pro. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile processor, which will be presented in about a month and a half at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2022.

The Meizu 19 Pro screen will be built on the LTPO AMOLED E6 2K panel made by Samsung. In this case we are most likely talking about 1440p resolution. The Chinese are a bit confused about this. Regardless of the resolution, the display will receive support for increased frame rate.

One of the features of Meizu 19 Pro will support deep integration with car systems. What this means is still difficult to say, but let's not forget that Geely acquired Meizu in the summer. Also the smartphone will get a main camera for 50 MP.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Meizu 19 Pro will be presented in 2023. The smartphone will cost ¥4500 ($630), but it is not clear which modification we are talking about. We should add that Meizu 18 Pro powered by Snapdragon 888 went on sale at a price of $700-835.
